Looking to learn a new skill or create your own stunning pieces of jewellery? Look no further than my Silversmithing Workshops!
Located at the model house in the picturesque town of old Llantrisant, join me in my cosy studio for this exclusive workshop designed to introduce you to the art of silversmithing.
You will be guided step by step in using traditional metalsmithing techniques to make a beautiful hammered sterling silver charm bangle.
Your bangle will be formed in solid sterling silver wire to your exact size before hammering to add texture and then adding your own personalised charm. This little disc can be textured, stamped with designs or just left plain!
Whether you’ve previous experience of metalsmithing or it’s your first time giving it a go, this workshop is open to all skill levels. Each workshop is run over 3Â hours and kept to small groups of 2-5 people. This enables me to be hands on and personally guide you through the process from beginning to end, ensuring that you get the most out of your experience.
Over the course of the workshop, you will:
- Learn the exciting process of metalwork including sawing, soldering, filing and finishing.
- Use professional silversmithing tools and materials.
- Create one unique, personalized design.
- Leave the workshop with a gorgeous sterling silver bangle, handmade by you!
The price includes use of all tools, copper to practice on, as well as all the sterling silver needed to create you bangle.
Tea, refreshments and biscuits will also be included.
