Group Silversmithing Workshop Experience

Looking for a unique way to commemorate a special occasion? Whether you’re celebrating a big birthday or planning the perfect hen party, why not come join me for a silversmithing workshop experience?!

 

Located at the model house in the picturesque town of old Llantrisant, just outside Cardiff, You will have exclusive access to myself and my studio for a half day of metalsmithing.

 

Fancy trying your hand at forging silver stacking rings? or want to have a go at making some textured earrings? My workshops are open to all skill levels and no previous metalsmithing experience is needed as I will guide you through each step of the process of crafting your own unique silver jewellery. 

 

This private group workshop is perfect for small groups of up to 5 people. Whether there’s just 2 of you, or the full 5, the price for a whole half a day experience stays the same.  Expect the workshop to run for around 3-4 hours, depending on what option you have chosen.

 

There are 3 options to choose from –

 

Stacking Ring Workshop

Craft three fabulous stacking rings in sterling silver! Learn the basics of metalsmithing including sawing, soldering and shaping to forge your very own unique, textured bands.

 

Personalised Pebble Necklace Workshop

Melt, hammer and stamp pure silver to make a personalised pebble pendant. You’ll learn the basics of soldering, stamping and finishing to forge a beautiful melted nugget necklace with a wonderful organic look,

 

Patterned Silver Earrings Workshop

Learn to use a rolling mill to imprint beautiful textures and patterns in metal then shape and add ear hooks or ear pins to craft your own unique earrings from sterling silver. 

 

This workshop:

• Private and exclusive studio access just for your party.
• Choice of 3 workshop experiences – personalised silver pebble necklace workshop, silver stacking ring workshop and patterned earrings workshop.
• Learn exciting new metalsmithing skills
• Use professional silversmithing tools and materials.

 

The price includes use of all tools, tuition and materials needed to create your beautiful jewellery.

Tea, refreshments and a cheeky slice of cake will also be included.
