Looking for a unique and special way to mark your big day? Look no further than my “make your own wedding rings” workshop!

Located at the model house in the picturesque town of old Llantrisant, just outside cardiff,you will have exclusive access to myself and my studio for a half day of metalsmithing.

I welcome all couples and there is no previous metalsmithing experience needed as I will guide you through each step of the process of crafting your own unique and meaningful wedding rings.
From selecting the perfect materials, to designing and fabricating your rings, my workshop offers a personalized and memorable experience that you’ll cherish for years to come.

Not only is this workshop a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and have fun together, but it also ensures that your wedding rings will be truly one-of-a-kind. You’ll be able to wear your handmade rings with pride, knowing that they were crafted with love.

I’m happy to take photos of the process throughout the day too, just ask.

This private workshop is for half a day experience, so expect it to last for around 4 hours, but it may run over – we will take as long as you need for you to create you perfect your rings!

I recommend booking your ring making experience at least a month before your wedding date to ensure there is enough time for hallmarking.

The standard workshop price is for making a set of two sterling silver rings, but please get in touch for upgrade options.

For an additional charge you can choose to forge your rings in 9ct or 18ct gold. Prices do vary and gold costs can fluctuate, so I am unable to give an exact amount until I can know your preferred style, but as a rough guide to make a lightweight 9ct gold ring it’s around £130 extra per ring, 9ct medium weight £240 per ring, and heavy weight £300 per ring. For an 18ct Lightweight ring it’s around £250 extra per ring, 18ct medium weight £500 and heavy weight £700.

Over the course of the workshop, you will:

• Have exclusive access to my studio.
• Learn the exciting process of metalworking including sawing, soldering, filing and finishing.
• Use professional silversmithing tools and materials.
• Create your own unique, personalized designs.
• Finish the workshop having forged a pair of gorgeous sterling silver wedding rings!

The price includes one-to-one tuition and exclusive access to the studio, use of all tools and all sterling silver needed to forge your set of rings. It also includes full hallmarking on both rings at the London assay office and a beautiful ring box to keep your rings safe until your big day. Tea and refreshments will be provided, as well as a cheeky bottle of bubbly to take away and celebrate with once you’ve finished forging your rings!

Wedding ring workshops are available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, One you’ve purchased your workshop experience, simply get in touch to check availability and secure your preferred date. After you’re all booked in we can discuss exactly what your dream wedding rings will look like and sort out any additional upgrade charges so that when you arrive for the workshop we’ll be ready to go make your perfect rings!

I would recommend leaving no less than a month before your wedding day to allow time for hallmarking.
