Several people have asked after attending workshops what tools they’d need to try silversmithing at home. I know it can be a bit confusing getting started so thought I’d put together some kits for those who want to give it a go!
This little kit is the perfect starter set for those wanting to start setting gemstones in their jewellery!
These basic tools will enable you to work with fine silver, sterling silver and gold to set gemstones in your beautiful jewellery designs at home.
Includes 5 basic tools to help get you started with setting. These wooden and steel tools will enable you to experiment with basic cabochon, gallery and claw setting. The ring clamp helps you keep your piece steady and secure whilst setting.
If you’re local to llantrisant you can choose to collect your kit from the studio saving you on postage.
