Phoenix Alchemy Forge – The New Silversmithing Studio In Llantrisant

Morning!

As I write this post I am looking out over the common from my new studio space…Yes you heard that right Phoenix Alchemy Jewellery has officially moved in to its own studio! The views are spectacular, I can enjoy a cup of tea and ponder designs whilst watching the cows and ponies play. Just up the hill are the historic castle ruins, long overgrown with ivy and abandoned for well over 500 years. It’s such a romantic little town full of history and myth and is the perfect home for phoenix alchemy forge – what the studio will be known as.

It’s been a long time coming and taken a lot of blood, sweat and tears but for the last month I’ve called Studio 15 at the model house, Llantrisant home.

I’ve got big plans once I’ve settled in more. Currently I’m in the process of making the studio more ‘phoenix alchemy’ and kitting out the space, but new metalsmithing workshops are being planned. There may also be a foray in to the world of YouTube coming soon. I’ve also got some new product ideas and collections planned to be released over the next few months, including metalsmithing kits.
